We are the franchise owner and operator of the fast-food restaurant outlet Mary Brown’s Chicken and Taters. Mary Brown’s is a popular fast-food restaurant with multiple chains throughout Canada now. It is known to serve delicious, authentic, halal Mediterranean food. A great variety of menu items are available especially if you are a genuine foodie who likes to try new tastes and food textures.
Our Store is located at 241 Trade Valley Dr. Building 2, unit - 1, Vaughan, Ontario, L4H 3N6.
Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of your position include but are not limited to the following:
• Managing inventory to control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise kitchen and dining staff to maintain high standards of food quality, service consistency, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees, ensuring all staff are properly oriented and following company policies and procedures.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and create a positive team-oriented work environment.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience and repeat business.
• Prepare budgets, monitor sales and expenses, and control costs to achieve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts and smooth restaurant operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations as well as company standards and policies.
• Implement promotional strategies, community outreach, and marketing initiatives to increase restaurant visibility and revenue.
Qualifications and Skills:
• At least 1 to 2 years of related management experience.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and with team too
• Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities
• Have good communication skills
