Key Responsibilities

• Prepare skids and outgoing orders

• Assemble, track, and manage customer orders

• Track orders using database systems

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming freight

• Inspect and verify all incoming and outgoing goods against invoices and documents

• Check for damaged goods and report shortages

• Maintain accurate inventory and records (manual and computerized systems)

• Determine shipping methods and prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, etc.)

• Assist in loading trucks and arranging shipments

• Provide packaging materials and manage shipping supplies

• Break down and dispose of used shipping materials

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and dock areas

• Ensure accuracy of pallet counts and inventory records

• Assist in implementing and maintaining Dock GMPs

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks (if certified)

• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures

• Perform invoicing and other administrative tasks as required

• Work scheduled hours (typically 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent

• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred

• Ability to learn quickly and follow directions

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong verbal communication and basic computer skills

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work in a cold and/or damp environment

• Forklift certification is an asset (not mandatory)
